Time-Dependent Perfumes

Pefume is one of those things where you search and smell for the right one! The one dependant on the season or the mood you may be in when you wake up. More than often, the scent may wear off mid day and you are left with no scent at all. Luckily, Lisa Hoffman offers fragrances for different parts of your day!
Lisa Hoffman Beauty provides a solution for the drifting scents. Her perfume company now offers scents that are to be used for a specific time of day, thus allowing women to wear more than one fragrance throughout the course of a day.

Choose from these fragrances:
Japanese Agarwood
Madagascar Orchid
Tuscan Fig
Tunisian Neroli
French Clary Sage
A favorite seems to be the Madagascar Orchid, a feminine and sweet scent. I must get my hands on these! Plus, if you run out, there are refill sets!

Flash of Lights
Light graffiti has not died down...not one bit, and wait til you see this shoot, the flashing of lights photo series with prove otherwise. With incorporation of nebulous elements, it's a sick (super, awesome) way to create beautiful captures without compromising the model and fashion one bit.
Photographed by Andrey Ivanov, The Flash of Light photo series features stunning model Irina Kornia. The Flash of Light photo series also featured the makeup artistry of Anna Kuzmynykh, who took a subtly dark path with the models’ visages.

Retro Romanticism
Big hair and bright eyes made me fall in love with this recent editorial shoot, the Mane Attraction Flare, shot by photographer Chris Nicholls. He did a great job at capturing Katherine Dea and Katrina, as did the makeup artist who paired their stunning shades of cool colors perfectly placed on their eyes and warm colors pressed against their lips. This shoot very much channeled a romantic, vintage'y' look, very seductive if you ask me. Besides the fingerwaved hair, bright red lip, and blue accented brows, a mix of modern luxe and a seductive vintage make this editorial a perfect example of what a timeless aesthetic should be. Take notes!

Lindsey Wixson Covers Style.com's First Magazine Issue
And who better to grace the first cover than 17 year old, well known model, Lindsey Wixson! In the first issue, there is a layout of a 23-page photo essay of her shot by rumored boyfriend and publishing progeny Theo Wenner, a comprehensive roundup of the Spring 2012, and a bunch of other fun goodies.
The cover is bare, but for a quote from Wixson who is, we’d like to remind you, just 17. It reads:
"The night after the shoot I had like blue hair in finger waves and I went to meet Marilyn at Nobu and when I walked in they thought I was Charlize Theron. Oh and I also did go-sees for Calvin Klein. I showed up and the guy was like what have you been modeling for a minute? And I was like, yeah."
The New York Times tsked that the quote “suggests she will never be known as the Joan Didion of her trade,” but I say...never judge a book by it's cover, and that goes for first issues of print magazines too!

Ulyana Sergeenko's Vintage Chic

Both the dresses and the pictures are gorgeous: every single detail screams retro, from the outfits to hairdos and the slightly vignetted lighting to the floral wallpaper background refer to a vintage-y, classy femininity.

Versace For H&M Ads Emerge
Versace‘s H&M collection drops in a little over a month, and I'm super excited about it, who wouldn't be, really? With less than a month to go, here are some new images from the campaign. There’s Daphne in a fringed heart-printed dress, and Abbey Lee Kershaw in a skintight LBD. There's still plenty of time to get excited for the collection to drop on Nov. 8. See anything you like?
