Twiggy, Twiggy, Twiggy, Can't You See?

I am not a big fan of bubble gum, let alone gum in general. First off, the taste of bubble gum reminds me of when I was a child, having to sip on penicillin or whatever the heck it was. Secondly, ever since I had braces, not chewing gum was the best habit I had to break. Chewing gum is SO bad for you, but I won't get into that, you know, you can do the research yourself. BUT I came across this Twiggy work of art, and I adore it. I must say I am a huge fan, and especially of this portrait. What will connect my senseless talk of gum with my adoration with Twiggy is that this very photo below is MADE OF BUBBLEGUM. NOT only it it gum, but its chewed gum. Canadian artist Jason Kronenwald specializes in his bubble gum portraits, all looking freakishly realistic. Impressive I know, but I do not suggest a DIY, as that would just lead to a sore mouth and cavities.
Check out more gum-art here, portraits including Britney, Madonna, and Jessica Simpson.

SIBLING

...and no I don't speak of my brother or sister. I'm talkin' about the pop, art, punk mix of what makes up SIBLING.

Collection 5 sees punk rocker jackets, tons of Robert Indiana iconic LOVE and the Statue or Liberty graffitied with a mohawk.

This season, Sibling is privileged to collaborate with artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster on the Tim and Sue Sweaters in black with neon reflective tape embroidery. PUNY UNDER NOURISHED KID and GIRL FRIEND FROM HELL. "We think they're fucking beautiful", Tim and Sue summarize.

A collection of noise, both optical and in spirit, Collection 5 is Sibling’s most focused, full-force outing yet.

Come on, feel it.
